Wow - I can't believe that it has been a year.

Day 362 of 365
Yesterday we went to Grazing in the Field, a dining experience promoting locally produced and processed food.
It was held at a beautiful dairy farm in Woodlands, Manitoba.
The 7 courses of food were amazing (the above soup is made from cream from where my husband works - his company was one of the partners and that is how we got to go).
The people were wonderful, and we had such a fun time. An all around great experience and worthy of 3 pictures (I did take lots of pictures last night).

Day 360 of 365
We walked along the train tracks tonight and saw why there were so many fire trucks the other day - a grass fire near the lumber yard.
We were off the tracks when this train came by.
Two pictures today as I only have 5 days left.

Day 355 of 365
This picture was taken from the car on the way home after teaching free motion quilting all weekend (it was a wonderful experience, and every one did so well).

Day 351 of 365
Started getting ready for a 2-day free motion quilting class I am teaching this weekend (surprisingly I have lots of samples - guess I need another bin).

Day 350 of 365
Hard to see, but there were a few Cedar Waxwing birds enjoying the sprinkler today - the one on the arbor is a young one.

Day 349 of 365
We all took turns trying out the go-cart that my oldest son (in the picture) and my husband made. They made it from scratch - designed and welded the frame, figured out how to get all the components to work etc. It took a couple of summers and they are pleased that it is finally working.

Trying to figure out how to knit with more than one colour (the sleeves of a sweater - free pattern here).

Day 346 of 365
We went hiking in the Whiteshell today (a beautiful provincial park about 2 hours east of home, near the Manitoba/Ontario border).
